Kampong Chhnang Province: On May 30, 2025, the Children’s Learning and Sustainable Studies (CLASS) project organized a highly impactful study visit, bringing together representatives from four primary schools—Sophorndakiri, Trea, Me Lom, and La’baek Reangsei—to visit Kdol Primary School.

The primary aim of this visit was to enhance professional capacities, foster collaboration among schools, and provide participants with new knowledge and practical experiences through the sharing of best practices in leadership, management, and innovative teaching methods.

The visit saw the participation of 51 individuals, including officials from the Teuk Phos District Office of Education, Youth and Sport, school principals, deputy principals, teachers, student councils, life skills teachers, librarians, and project staff. The visit focused on key objectives, such as:

  • Exploring best practices in school leadership and management.
  • Strengthening technical skills and life skills education both inside and outside the classroom.
  • Understanding the operations of library programs and support systems for children and girl’s counselling.
  • Supporting struggling learners, promoting student health, and ensuring access to clean water in school.

Participants actively engaged in exchanging experiences and best practices, gaining deeper insights into students’ needs and innovative teaching methods that make classrooms more dynamic and engaging.

This study visit provided an exceptional opportunity for teachers and school leaders to learn from one another. Sharing strengths and best practices will help us build a high-quality, sustainable education system. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to KAPE and the CLASS project for organizing this impactful initiative,” remarked Mr. Chan Thun, Deputy Director of the Teuk Phos District Education Office.

As the results, the study visit concluded successfully, with participants committing to apply the insights and experiences gained to their respective schools, aiming to enhance educational quality and deliver inclusive services to their communities. Supported by WeWorld-GVC, the CLASS project continues its mission to promote access to education, particularly for vulnerable children and those with learning disabilities, across target provinces in Cambodia.
