KAPE was recently contacted by the Center for Education Innovations (CEI) about the possibility of profiling the Beacon School Initiative. BSI is an experimental project implemented by KAPE in Kampong Cham Province that is seeking to develop an experience base that will help Cambodia promote public private partnerships in the education sector.  The project is one of the few instances where public schools have introduced some level of private management as a means to increase educational quality. CEI is a large clearing house that profiles innovative projects in Public Private Partnerships and their interest in profiling KAPE’s Beacon School Initiative is positive recognition of the success and increasing profile of this project.
