Some of KAPE’s beneficiaries were invited to attend a Dinner Party taking place in Kampong Cham town on 16 December 2012 from 4:00pm till 8:00pm to celebrate some of the activities they have been involved in. This party was facilitated by KAPE and World Education. There were a number of performances put on by a team of student artists from our partner BSDA. Most of the students felt so surprised and happy to have the chance to relax, talk with their friends and especially have the chance to enjoy performances by young Khmers. One student said “I am very happy tonight because I attended the Dinner Party in celebration of the New Year 2013 with my friends. I had some delicious food before I watched the artist team performance. I can learn more about how to work in groups from the dancing activities.” He continued he thanked Mr. Kurt, who organized this Dinner Party and said it gave him hope and encouragement to continue in his studies next year.
