IBEC gives students more space to practice the chemistry lesson
Date : 2013-02-21Improved Basic Education in Cambodia (IBEC) project has actively been implementing since 2009 in three target provinces: Kampong Cham, Kratie and Siem Reap. IBEC, which is supported by USAID, provides target public schools with helpful learning and teaching aids, as well as establishing science and computers labs that make students interested in their studies at schools because they can see real facts after studying theory.
A student group representative said that her group members are always coming to school in their free time to look at the chemical elements in the lab.
Mr. Tipa, the school director, really expressed his excitement when he said he did not expect to see so much improvement in his students. He hopes that USAID and other donors continue supporting his school and other schools throughout Cambodia.
